The annual Jack O'Sullivan memorial U-10 hurling Blitz will take place  on next Sunday morning October 6th at 10.00 . 8 teams will take part in this prestigious competition .This is the 28th year since the tournament commenced in 1992. Ballyhea won the first blitz with Blackrock , Limerick winning in 1993. The competition was named after our late chairman Jack O'Sullivan in 1996. Only on two occasions was the blitz not held, in 2000 and 2005. Shandrum the holders  lead the roll of honour with 8 titles , Ballyhea next on 7 ,Blackrock 3, Kilmallock 3, St Marks , Charleville , Midleton and Fermoy all have one each . Come along Sunday for an enjoyable mornings hurling
