After the heights of the semi-final replay victory over Kilworth our Juniors were brought down to earth in this vital league tie at Ballyhea on Friday night. Ballyhea were never really in this contest trailing 1-5 to 0-2 at half-time. Despite a Johnny O' Flaherty goal in the 53rd minute, Ballyhea were never going to win this one.
Despite defeat in this final league game, Ballyhea now play Churchtown in a play off for a place in the semi-finals.
