Munster Intermediate Club Hurling League Final BALLYHEA 1-17 SOUTH LIBERTIES 2-8 (21/11/04) Played At | Kilmallock. Ballyhea took the Munster IHL Title on Sunday last when they had six points to spare over South Liberties in Kilmallock. Ballyhea held the edge all through and were 0-5 to 0-1 ahead at the end of the first quarter. South Liberties had two points, but a goal by Timmy Shanahan gave Ballyhea an interval lead. On the resumption Ian and Darren Ronan added points for Ballyhea but South Liberties came back well and came within four points of Ballyhea by the 48th minute. Ballyhea finished the stronger side and scored a further three points courtesy of the impressive Maurice O' Sullivan, Ian Ronan and Aidan Crowley. After the game Donal Fitzgibbon of the Munster Council presented the plaque to Ballyhea's Captain Ian Ronan.
