Ballyhea advanced to a meeting with Newtown after this victory over Castletownroche last Wednesday night. At half time Ballyhea led 1-12 to 0-2, Johnny Flaherty scoring the goal in the 14th min. Ballyhea's second goal came from Denis Mortell in the 39th min. A feature of the game was the excellent point scoring from centre forward Michael O' Mahony.
