Senior Hurling League SARSFIELDS 4-16 BALLYHEA 2-8 (01/06/02) Played At | Riverstown. The Senior hurlers went under to Sars at Riverstown last saturday night in the league as Ballyhea were again understrenght owing to unavailability of players due to injuries and exams. The home side led 3-7 to 1-3 at half time. Conor O' Riordan netting for Ballyhea in the 29th minute. Sars dominated the second half although Ian Curtin had a fine goal in the 46th minute, the Riverstown boys were comfortable winners in the end.
